Jews Led Arabs to embrace Islam! (story of the killed village)

Mount of Uhud, in the way between Makkaah and Madina

Why Al-Madinah?

Prophet Muhammad stayed 13 years in Makkah trying to convince his people with the truth but none listened, his life and the lives of those who believed in Islam was on the line, when he got the sign to go to Madina, he went to a different society, a society which accepted the truth and believed it.. doesn't this give rise to a question? why those? why not people of Makkah, or Taif or Thaquif??
they are all Arabs anyway!!

the answer lies in the Jews themselves!!! how come?

Jews inhabited the Madina very long time before the birth of Prophet Muhammad, they appreciated themselves very well coz they have the knowledge of the scriptures which the illiterate Arabs don't have.. in fact, the Arabs also realized that, and from living with the Jew in Madina they learned many traditions, like circumcision, washing with water after urination and defecation, and so many other habits, they also kept hearing the constant phrase: tomorrow, the last Prophet will come, it's now his time, so when he rises we'll follow him and kill you with him like 'Add and Eram (two nations which disbelieved their messengers and were put to torture)

That's why when people of Madina met the Prophet, they looked at each others and said: sure this is the prophet that Jews were talking about, let them NOT outrun you to him.
The Jew knew it was him, but as they were expecting according to the scriptures (from a circumcised nation) that he will rise from among themselves, not from among the Arabs whom they consider as idiots! so they disbelieved!

The  covenant

The very first moment the Prophet came to the land of Madina, he gathered the masters of the tribes, including the jewish tribes and wrote a covenant (a constitution) in the modern way.
That  covenant said: Muslims and Jews are inhabitants of one land, they have the burden of defending that land, Each must help the other against anyone who attacks the people of this document. The Jews shall contribute to the cost of war so long as they are fighting alongside the believers. and may Allah's curse fall over those who will break this contract, and the Jews agreed.

The betrayal

But when the time of the battle came, when Madina was under the danger of being invaded by four different tribes from everywhere, where Muslims decided to dig the trench... pagans sent to Jews and convinced them with betraying the Muslims and they did... they exposed the Madina to entrance of enemy wile it was vacant of men, only women and children... Muslim women stood there defending their lives.

But the battle ended, and unfortunately, Muslims were not defeated as the Jews hoped, and this is time to question, time to put the punishment of such a betray.. and the judgment was clear: death to all the betrayers -unless they say the Shihada.
they chose not to.. and were sent to death... All men at the age of carrying the weapon... fair enough I think!
