Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha il-lAllaah, Allaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar, Wa Lil-laahil-hamd

(Allaah is the Greatest, Allaah is the Greatest, Allaah is the Greatest, there is no god but Allaah; Allaah is the Greatest and to Allaah be all praise)

Pray... whenever time comes, wherever you are!

Salam Alikom...

This post.. before I write to you.. I write it 1st to myself.

When you hear the Adhan.. when memories jump to your mind.. back in time when you were young.. how often you hear it... many voices, some are remarkable.. roosters start giving their own adhan after prayer is over.. what a picture!

Now getting a little older.. walking with a friend, talking happily when you hear the adhan, you both listen silently to this sacred call! what a beautiful voice you both enjoy, and what a great message it holds!

Now your friend is no longer near you.. but the Adhan is still there, reminding you with his memory!

Did you travel abroad?.. are you feeling lonely away from your beloved ones?.. wait.. the Adhan is calling… now you'll find your shelter! Just get in, and enjoy sitting inside Allah's house, among your Muslim brothers and get to know new friends when you shake hands with the one next to you after you both have finished!

What a peaceful atmosphere inside the Masjid!... you've just taken off your shoes and you took off with them the burden of life you have been carrying on your shoulders. Now you feel the true meaning of slavery towards Allah, when you complain to Him, ask Him, and wish Him to forgive your sins.

Made your wuduu?.. how do you feel now? Being washed with cool water, your face is dripping.. your arms are wet… you feel fresh again though you've been the very last moment feeling sleepy ^__^

How is prayer? It has been always the thermometer of your relation with your Creator.. remember last time when you felt so close?, when you were concentrating with all your emotions and body organs?.. slowly and peacefully you make your next movement, did you feel harmony then? You miss that when you make something that interrupts your relation with Allah.. Oh we do miss a lot!
praying.. with the remainder of the Masjid!
Do you love your friend?.. did you invite him to pray with you and be your Imam?..

a unique experience!..

why don't you try it with your wife?..

your son?...

your daughter?.. it means the world for them!

Do you like them to be raised as good Muslims? Then why not letting them share these moments with you? Happiness does cost very little indeed! Less than we imagine!

Now the brother praying next to you is handicapped, but who knows? He might be better in Allah's sight than you are! Let this fact be clear in your mind whenever you deal with him… learn how to be humble from your Salah!

Remember the hardest moments? when you were struggling to regain your dignity and reestablish your new nation?

the 18 days revolution-Egypt
when prayer united you along with your Muslim and Christian brother who share the same homeland?

Tahrir square
Last Rakaah? Now your prayer is about to end!.. with deep wishings it is in Shaa Allah accepted well to be rewarded for, despite always being imperfect, but who knows? Allah is most merciful .. gives great rewards for little work yet we still don't appreciate it!

Finished your prayer? Do you feel now you are a different person? Did you feel calmer, more peaceful, and more pious so that you don't want to make any small sin that could interrupt your inner peace? Now you know your prayer is successful, and you measure its success with the degree of this feeling after you finish.

Your sins are driving you away? You feel ashamed from them?.. then why don't you just throw them and start over? Five opportunities of starting over are on the way, will you take vantage of them or surrender to Satan? Go to the shelter of your Creator and complain to Him.. seek refuge to Him from your sins and ask Him to clarify your heart so that you manage to worship Him perfectly.

You will be always well.. whenever you keep your prayer!

Alhamdulillah for being Muslim!

  3. Masha'Allah, thank you so much for this post!
A very good reminder to us all tomake the most of every prayer. ...It can be so easy to fall into routine and take for granted that we are even alive and able to pray and thank our Lord for all we truly have.

I liked the part most about asking others to pray with you, like wife and son and daughter and friends. ...To be able to pray is a gift in itself (especially after seeing the pics in this post and realizing im blessed to be healthy enough to pray easily when there are those who are less fortunate....a thing I take for granted a lot), but to pray with the ones you love would be amazing experience to feel the connection together that you are all trying to be closer to Allah(swt).

This article has a lot to offer... May Allah(swt) bless you, ameen.
